Shawn and Liam are brothers. Shawn is the older one at age 8 while his little brother is just shy a few months of being two. Shawn is of the opinion that he has the best little brother ever and would say he would go to hell and back for Liam if he didn't think hell was a bad word to say.

He doesn't like his parents too much. Not his fault really but they tend to forget that he and Liam need attention. And the all appreciated hug from time to time. But Shawn doesn't outwardly complain. He gets what he needs and they do at least try. They just forget the little things like the fact Liam is an escape artist in the making and that Shawn doesn't trust them to do much more than they all ready do. Occasionally Shawn gets very angry at his parents. Mostly because he'll do things to get them to react to him and they don't. This has given him little faith in the ability of adults to notice anything is wrong with the world. His ninth birthday will be coming up soon and he hopes he can just spend that day in the park with his brother.

But now that he's discovered the Nexus or at least an entry way in his room? Well he can't help but hope Liam the escape artist doesn't get into any danger while he's at school.
